The Oroville Update

Yes, everyone. That’s the long awaited address to which you can send me cards, letters, air mailed Barleys pizza (Italian sausage and banana peppers, preferably) and the like. You may or may not know that my BIRTHDAY is fast arriving. July 23rd is the date. Hopefully by then my phone will be fully functioning, because I’m sure all of you will want to chat with the new, 17 yr old Nicole Fletcher. Also note that gifts (My wishlist includes an ipod, car, baby yak, and kimono) can be sent to moi via Jenna Lyles who is romping out to the west coast “mesa land” (My Dad said its “technically” called the foothills of the Sierra mountains, as Travelers Rest is called the piedmont and not “Redneckville”) around August 3rd. Yee-haw!

After 3 days in Oroville, I’m not sure what to make of it. It’s beautiful, but definitely in a different, more western way than Greenville is. If Greenville is green, than Oroville is fairly yellow, seeing the 112 degree heat has dried up the springtime freshness. As soon as I can, I will post pictures of the little house that we’re renting while we look for something bigger and better. And also some pictures of Saddleback Lake, which is about 5 minutes away.

I miss each and every one of you tons. I’m already trying to hatch a scheme to come back to Youth In Gov in South Carolina. Hopefully Vicki and Shivam will have gotten rid of the new speech coach by then, and be commandeering the RHS team to Victory! YAY! But they do have something named mock trial. Sounds like the closest thing to debating with hot guys in suits.

Other clubs I’m interested in? The Hip Hop Club. Fo sho. But anywhoo, I’m off to go swim at a waterhole nearby.
